Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the batter: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and water. The batter should be smooth and slightly thick.
  3. Coat the cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it is evenly coated. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle or brush olive oil evenly over the coated florets on the baking sheet. This step helps promote golden crispiness during baking.

  4. Bake the cauliflower: Bake the cauliflower for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  5. Toss in buffalo sauce: While the cauliflower is baking, heat the buffalo sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once the cauliflower is done, toss the crispy florets in the buffalo sauce until fully coated.
  6. Serve: Serve the buffalo cauliflower wings with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese dressing. Enjoy!

    Thankyou Beth.
Just before baking, after you’ve dipped the cauliflower florets in the batter and placed them on the baking sheet:

👉 Drizzle or lightly brush the 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the battered florets before putting them in the oven. This helps the cauliflower crisp up better in the oven.

When do you use the tbsp of oil?
