Instructions

  1. 1. Sauté the Beef & Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms (if using) until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. 2. Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. 3. Assemble the Casserole: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, layer the cooked beef and sautéed vegetables. Pour the cheese mixture evenly over the top. Lay provolone cheese slices over the casserole to fully cover it.
  4. 4. Bake: Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly with golden spots.
  5. 5. Serve: Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
